Clarifying Anti-Acne Gel
Key Objectives
To create a hydrating gel for oily and or acneic skins. The gel will have skin renewal properties which hydrates the skin at the same time as exfoliating it with a poly AHA combination of glycolic, salicylic and Lactic acids.
It will also contain marine algae which remineralizes, calms and tones the skin.
Gentle formula to use on even the most irritated of skins. Maintains the PH level of the skin, hydrating the skin with a non-oil based formula.

Ingredients
-
Glycolic Acid
Unglues the outer layer of dead skin cells, which improves colour skin texture, unclogs pores, increases cell turnover and allows moisturizers to be better absorbed by the skin. -
Salicylic Acid
It is a BHA (Beta-Hydroxy Acid) derived from willow bark. In small percentages in a cleanser or moisturizer it can help keep acne prone skin clear. It is anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, fungicidal, antioxidant and anti-bacterial. It is a chemical trap for free radicals by penetrating the pore to exfoliate inside as well as out. -
Lactic Acid
Lactic acid is antimicrobial, a PH regulator, moisturizer, humectant, is an AHA (skin rejuvenating agent) and is a skin whitening agent. -
Marine Algae
Marine Algae remineralizes, calms and tones the skin. -
Vitamin E
Stable antioxidant. Has been implied by scientists that it helps protect the skin from environmental pollutants and sunlight through its antioxidant capacities. -
Vitamin A
Helps control oil secretions. It is a fat soluble ingredient that does not lie on the surface of the skin. It diffuses into the skin and helps control oil secretions. Helps regulate cell growth.
